Founder's Message

My name is Ashutosh Singh, Founder & Representative

Director of Patanjali Japan Foundation (PJF).

I serve as the Chief Sewa Officer, because I believe leadership

begins with service.

Why“Chief Sewa Officer”?

I chose the title Chief Sewa Officer because Sewa means service

— a value that exists deeply in both Bharat and Japan, where

people contribute with sincerity and responsibility. I have been

inspired since childhood by the spirit of Hanuman Ji, the

symbol of fearless dedication and selfless service. For me,

leadership is not about authority — it is about serving society with

courage, discipline, and compassion.

When I first came to Japan, I encountered something that I had never truly understood before—the word“stress.”

At the time, I did not realize how deeply stress can shape a person’s health, emotions, relationships, and even the meaning of life.

Over the years, I witnessed first-hand how modern society—especially high-pressure corporate environments—can silently lead people toward exhaustion, anxiety, isolation, depression, and in the worst cases, suicide. I also experienced the reality that even when someone chooses to do the right thing and speak up, it can come with resistance.

These experiences did not break my spirit—they refined my mission. I founded Patanjali Japan Foundation (PJF) with one clear intention:

To support people in building a life that is not only successful on the outside, but also stable, conscious, and fulfilled from within.

In today’s world, success is often defined by money, status, fame, and comfort. But when success becomes the only goal, it can create imbalance—and that imbalance becomes stress. That is why at PJF, we focus on something deeper than “success.”

We aim for excellence, and we promote a Better Lifestyle as a foundation for a strong society.

Today, our work spans three important sectors:

1. Health & Wellbeing Ecosystem

We help individuals build a stable foundation through yoga,

lifestyle education, discipline, and community support.

2. Yogasana Sports & Community Leadership

Through Yogasana, we promote youth development, discipline,

and the power of purposeful training—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

3. Education, Training & Ethical Consulting

We support professionals and organizations by spreading practical knowledge,

leadership training, and values-based excellence.

At the heart of everything we do are our guiding principles—values inspired by both Bharat and Japan: Sewa Bhav (service),

Omotenashi (true hospitality), Shokunin Spirit (craftsmanship), Tapa (austerity), Santosh (contentment), and Swadhyay (self-reflection).

These principles remind us that real progress is not created by shortcuts—but by clarity, discipline, compassion, and responsibility.

My deeper dream (vision) is to build a bridge between Japan, Bharat (India), and the world—bringing the best of both cultures together:

  • Japan’s discipline, quality, professionalism, and refinement

  • Bharat’s wisdom, spirituality, resilience, and purpose-driven living

If we connect these strengths, we can create a beautiful future: a society where the creator, the giver, and the receiver all thrive in harmony—through ethical value creation and what I call Satvik wealth. This is not just an organization. This is a movement toward a better way to live.

Thank you for being here.

Let us grow together—step by step, breath by breath, with courage and wisdom.
