Yoga For Menstrual Cramps & Pain- Live & Interactive Session November 2021

Patanjali Japan Foundation (PJF) successfully concluded its Yoga For Menstrual Cramps and Pain Monthly Interactive Session. The session was presented by Mr. Ashutosh Sensei (Chief Sewa Officer, PJF) & Norah Hoang and discussion was led by Ms Suhani Sensei, & Ms. Sara sensei (Yoga Teacher, PJF).


PJF completed 440 days of ‘Daily morning Pranayama special Yoga session’ on 21th of November. In October, a total number of 81 unique Yogis participated in morning sessions which included 4 'Kesari'/Saffron belt Yogis, 12 'Shwet'/White belt Yogis and 65 'Hari'/Green belt Yogis.




Explanation of Yoga For Menstruation Cramps & Pain


As we know Period pain is common and a normal part of your menstrual cycle. Almost every women get it at some point in their lives. It's usually felt as painful muscle cramps in the tummy, which can spread to the back and thighs.


By doing some special yoga poses for menstrual cramps or periods can get rid you from that pain.



The majority of studies on the effect of yoga on menstruation focused on the impact of regular exercise on symptoms. According to one recent study, yoga can significantly reduce moderate to severe pain, abdominal swelling, and breast tenderness associated with the menstrual cycle.
