Patanjali Japan Foundation Delegates Join Festive Celebrations at Indian Wedding in Faridabad

Faridabad, India: On January 29th, 2024, the esteemed delegation from the Patanjali Japan Foundation (PJF) embraced the vibrant spirit of Indian culture by participating in a joyous wedding celebration in Faridabad. 


The wedding was attended by Sh. Ashutosh Singh, Chief Sewa Officer & Representative Director at Patanjali Japan Foundation; Yumi Ishida, Director and Sales and Marketing Leader; Mr. Yasuhiro Matsou, CEO (Labor and Social Security Attorney), WeNeed Inc. Japan; Mr. Samepal Singh, Founder and Director of One World Alliance; and Ms. Deepika Singh, Founder and Managing Director at eSpot Web Solutions.



The PJF delegation arrived at the wedding venue with great anticipation, eager to immerse themselves in the festivities and experience the rich cultural traditions of India.  As they joined the lively baraat procession, they were welcomed with cheerful music and dancing which instantly brought joy between the members.




A Glimpse into Indian Wedding Customs and Traditions

During the baraat, the delegation had the opportunity to take some memorable photos with the groom on the beautifully decorated Baggi, capturing precious moments of celebration. The traditional wedding rituals, symbolism and significance, offered them a glimpse into the Indian customs and traditions.



After the baraat, they received a warm welcome from the hosts and enjoyed the dinner featuring India's diverse culinary traditions. The delegates admired the hospitality and beautiful atmosphere of the wedding venue, adding to the celebration's charm.



In between dances, the delegates enjoyed refreshing mocktails and sampled a range of Indian food like chaat and other traditional dishes.


In addition to indulging in dance sessions, the delegates danced enthusiastically to Bollywood songs played by the DJ. The Japanese delegates particularly enjoyed the music.


Indian weddings are celebrated with great enthusiasm as they symbolize the union of two families, the continuation of cultural traditions, and the beginning of a new chapter in the lives of the couple. The festive celebrations are a reflection of the spirit of togetherness that are integral to Indian society.
