山梨県庁 表敬訪問（JYSF支援・連携のお願い）

〜日本ヨガアーサナスポーツ連盟（JYSF）活動報告と今後の協力に向けて〜

2026年1月26日、日本ヨガアーサナスポーツ連盟（JYSF：Japan Yogasana Sports Federation）の運営メンバーは、山梨県庁 観光文化・スポーツ部（文化・スポーツ関連部署） を表敬訪問し、公式なご挨拶ならびに活動報告の機会をいただきました。

本訪問は、JYSFが 山梨県（山中湖村）に拠点を置き、組織として発展していく重要な節目であり、また「ヨガアーサナ」という新しい競技スポーツを通じて、日本代表として世界へ挑戦していくための大切な一歩となりました。

1. 訪問の目的

今回の面談の主な目的は以下の通りです。

• 山梨県に対し、日本ヨガアーサナスポーツ連盟（JYSF） を正式にご紹介すること

• JYSF設立以降の進捗・実績を共有すること

• 今後の活動計画（特にWorld Yogasana Championshipに向けた準備）についてご報告すること

• 山梨県との 連携・協力・支援の可能性についてご相談すること

今回、担当の皆様には温かく迎えていただき、丁寧にご清聴いただきましたことに深く感謝申し上げます。また、今後のロードマップに対して前向きなお言葉をいただき、大変心強い時間となりました。

3. JYSF出席メンバー（JYSF役員）

JYSFからは、以下の理事メンバーが参加しました。

• Ashutosh Singh（代表理事 / JYSF理事・World Yogasana 共同事務局長・審判）

• Yumi Kashiwagi（JYSF理事 / World Yogasana 審判）

• Saori Kyuei（JYSF理事 / 日本代表チームキャプテン・チームコーチ）

JYSFとしてのビジョン、実行力、そして国際的な活動への準備状況を、正式な運営チームとして揃ってご報告いたしました。

4. 面談で共有した主な活動報告

面談では、JYSFの設立から現在までのストーリー、そして今後の方向性について包括的に共有しました。

■ JYSFの正式登録について

JYSFは 2025年9月5日 に正式に団体登録を完了し、現在は 山梨県（山中湖村） を拠点として活動しています。山梨県をホームとして、今後の全国的な競技普及・組織強化に向けた活動を推進していく体制となりました。

■ 2025年アジアヨガアーサナ選手権後の進展

2025年5月、アジアヨガアーサナ選手権後に山梨県庁へ一度ご報告の機会をいただきました。その後、団体登録を加速させるとともに、日本国内での長期的な発展に向けた計画を明確化し、組織的な取り組みを進めてきました。

■ ヨガフェスティバル（2025年9月）での活動

2025年9月には「Yoga Festival」にて、ヨガアーサナの紹介と普及活動を行いました。この活動を通じて、ヨガアーサナが日本における新しいスポーツカテゴリーとして成長する可能性があることを広く伝え、JYSFの認知向上と社会的関心の拡大につながりました。

■ World Yogasana Championshipに向けたロードマップ

今回の面談の大きなテーマのひとつが、World Yogasana Championshipに向けた準備状況の共有でした。

JYSFは現在、

• 日本代表チームの育成

• 全国的なトレーニング体制づくり

• 選手・指導者の強化を進めています。

JYSFの目指すところは「選手を育てる」だけではなく、日本における“ヨガアーサナスポーツ”のエコシステムそのものを構築することです。

5. JYSFの理念：「ヨガアーサナは、新しいスポーツ」

面談では、ヨガアーサナという競技について以下のようにご説明しました。

• インドの古代知識に根ざした規律ある実践であること

• 現代の競技スポーツとして世界で拡大していること

• 体力・集中力・バランス・精神安定を高める競技であること

• 若者育成、健康増進、国際交流にもつながる可能性があること

また、私たちのメッセージとして、「Yogasana is a New Sport – Japan is Ready to Join」をお伝えしました。

これはスポーツとしての価値に加え、日本の文化・社会の発展にも寄与できる新しい可能性であると考えております。

6. 山中湖村 村長（村長）からの応援メッセージ

今回の面談では、山中湖村の村長よりJYSFへ応援メッセージをいただいていることも共有しました。

地域からの応援は、私たちにとって大変意義深いものであり、山梨を拠点とした活動基盤の強化、そして全国的な育成拠点づくりの構想にも大きくつながっています。

7. 山梨県の前向きな反応

今回の面談では、担当の皆様から非常に前向きなお言葉をいただきました。

特に印象的だった点として、

• 山梨県とインド・ウッタルプラデーシュ州の間で既に交流・連携が進んでいること

• JYSFのビジョンに対して好意的に受け止めていただけたこと

• 支援・連携の可能性について、前向きに検討いただける雰囲気があったこと

が挙げられます。

ヨガアーサナはインド発祥の競技であり、この文化的なつながりが山梨県とJYSFの連携を自然に後押ししていることを実感しました。

8. JYSF公式Webサイトの共有

面談の中で、JYSFの公式Webサイトを公開したこともご報告しました。www.jysf.jp

このWebサイトは今後、

• 団体からのお知らせ

• 選手登録

• イベント・大会情報

• スポンサー・パートナー情報

• トレーニング・育成情報

などを集約する、主要な情報発信プラットフォームとして活用していきます。

9. 今回の面談の意義

今回の訪問は、JYSFが単なる競技団体としてだけでなく、社会的価値を生み出すプロフェッショナルな組織として認知され始めていることを示す大きな一歩でした。

JYSFは、以下の価値創出にも取り組んでいます。

• 若者の育成・挑戦の機会

• 健康・ウェルビーイングの推進

• 国際友好

• スポーツを通じた文化交流

• 選手・指導者の専門性向上

私たちは、ヨガアーサナスポーツが「規律・強さ・調和」をもって日本が世界へ挑戦できる新しい機会になり得ると信じています。そして山梨県が、その中心地として大きな役割を担う可能性があると感じています。

今回の面談を受け、JYSFとしては以下のステップを進めてまいります。

Meeting Report: Courtesy Visit to Yamanashi Prefecture – Request for Support & Collaboration for JYSF

On January 26, 2026, the leadership team of the Japan Yogasana Sports Federation (JYSF) had the honour of visiting the Yamanashi Prefecture Government – Culture & Sports Department for an official courtesy meeting and activity update.

This meeting was an important milestone for JYSF, as we are building our federation base in Yamanashi (Yamanakako) and strengthening our vision to represent Japan globally through the new competitive sport of Yogasana.

1. Purpose of the Visit

The main purpose of this meeting was:

• To officially introduce Japan Yogasana Sports Federation (JYSF) to Yamanashi Prefecture

• To share the progress and achievements of JYSF since our formation

• To update the government on our future plans, especially our preparation for the World Yogasana Championship

• To explore possibilities for collaboration, recognition, and support from Yamanashi Prefecture

We are sincerely grateful that the officials welcomed us warmly, listened carefully, and gave positive feedback for our upcoming roadmap.

2. Officials We Met (Yamanashi Prefecture Government)

We had the privilege to meet the following officials from the Culture & Sports Department:

• Mr. Yoshiyuki Koizumi (Director General/ 部長)

• Mr. Anamizu

• Mr. Ishihara

The meeting was held in a very constructive and supportive atmosphere, and we deeply appreciate the time and attention given by the department.

3. JYSF Leadership Team (Attendees from JYSF)

From JYSF, the following Directors attended the meeting:

• Ashutosh Singh – Representative Director, JYSF (Joint Secretary & Judge, World Yogasana)

• Yumi Kashiwagi – Director, JYSF (Judge, World Yogasana)

• Saori Kyuei – Director, JYSF (Japan Team Captain & Team Coach)

We attended together as the official leadership team, representing the federation’s vision, execution strength, and international readiness.

4. Key Updates Shared During the Meeting

During the meeting, we shared the full story of JYSF’s growth and achievements, including:

Official Registration of JYSF

We explained that JYSF was officially registered on: September 5, 2025

and the federation’s registered base is now in: Yamanashi Prefecture (Yamanakako Village)

This marks Yamanashi as the home of JYSF’s future growth and national development efforts.

Progress Since Asian Yogasana Championship 2025

We shared that in May 2025, after the Asian Yogasana Championship, we had previously conducted a meeting with Yamanashi Prefecture to report the results and discuss future federation establishment.

Following that meeting, we accelerated our official registration process and created a structured plan for long-term development in Japan.

Representation at Yoga Festival (September 2025)

We also shared that we successfully presented and promoted Yogasana at Yoga Festival in September 2025, showing that Yogasana has strong potential to grow in Japan as a new sport category.

This helped JYSF increase awareness and public engagement in Japan.

Roadmap Toward World Yogasana Championship

A major highlight of today’s visit was sharing our official plan toward: World Yogasana Championship 2026

JYSF is now actively preparing the Japan team, building a national training structure, and strengthening both athlete development and leadership.

We explained that JYSF is not just building athletes — but building an entire ecosystem of Yogasana Sports in Japan.

5. The Spirit Behind JYSF: “Yogasana is a New Sport”

During the meeting, we introduced Yogasana as:

• A discipline rooted in the ancient knowledge of India

• A modern competitive sport now expanding globally

• A powerful tool for physical strength, focus, balance, and mental stability

• A sport that can promote youth development, wellness, and international exchange

We also shared our message: “Yogasana is a New Sport — Japan is Ready to Join.”

This is one of the key reasons why JYSF is important not only for sports but also for the cultural and societal development of Japan.

6. Support Message from Yamanakako Village (Mayor)

We also shared with the officials that: Yamanakako Village Mayor (Soncho) has provided a support message for JYSF.

This is a very meaningful sign of local encouragement and validation.

Having local support from Yamanakako strengthens JYSF’s foundation in Yamanashi and aligns with our long-term plan to build national-level training bases in Japan.

7. Positive Response from Yamanashi Prefecture

We were very happy to receive a positive response from the officials.

During the discussion, we learned that:

• There is already an ongoing collaboration between Yamanashi Prefecture and Uttar Pradesh (India)

• The officials were supportive and receptive to JYSF’s vision

• The department showed interest in exploring ways to provide support and collaboration

This alignment is extremely meaningful for JYSF, because Yogasana originates from India, and the cultural connection naturally supports the growth of Yogasana Sports in Japan.

8. JYSF Website Shared

We proudly shared that JYSF has now launched its official website: www.jysf.jp

This website will become the primary platform for:

• Federation announcements

• Athlete registrations

• Event and championship information

• Sponsorship and partnership information

• Training / development updates

9. Why This Meeting Matters

This meeting is a significant step forward because it confirms that JYSF is being recognized not only as a sports federation, but also as a professional organization working for:

• Youth empowerment

• Health & wellbeing

• International friendship

• Cultural exchange through sport

• Professional development of athletes and coaches

We believe that Yogasana is a new opportunity for Japan to lead globally with discipline, strength, and harmony — and Yamanashi can become a strong center for this movement.

10. Next Steps

Following this meeting, JYSF will proceed with the next steps:

1. Continue structured training for Japan Team

2. Finalize World Championship preparation strategy

3. Expand awareness programs within Japan

4. Strengthen collaboration with public and private partners

5. Continue communication with Yamanashi Prefecture for future support possibilities
