9月5日はインドで「教師の日」として祝われます。師弟関係を重んじ、先生方を人生の指導者として尊敬し、感謝を表す大切な日です。その知恵・規律・思いやりは、私たちの人生や社会を照らす光となります。ここ日本においても、この精神は「おもてなし」や生涯学習の価値観と響き合い、真の進歩は師を敬う心から始まることを思い起こさせます。

日本における意義日本では「先生」を敬う文化が社会に深く根付いています。学校教育はもちろん、武道の道場や書道・茶道などの伝統文化においても、師の役割は単なる指導を超え、人間性や規律、共同体の価値観を形作るものです。こうした文化的背景は教師の日の精神と美しく響き合い、インドと日本の双方が師を敬う深い伝統を共有していることを示しています。
JYSFにとっての特別な節目
この意義深い日に、私たちは 日本ヨガアーサナスポーツ連盟（JYSF）の法人設立登記申請 を行ったことを報告いたします。登記は2025年9月19日頃に完了予定です。
これは、日本におけるヨガアーサナをスポーツとして確立するための新たな章の始まりです。JYSFは若いアスリートに機会を創出し、未来の指導者を育成し、日本と世界のヨーガアーサナの架け橋となることを目指します。
教師、指導者、そしてヨガアーサナの未来
教師の日とこの節目が重なるのは偶然ではありません。JYSFの使命は、体の鍛錬だけでなく、規律や忍耐、価値観を導く「師」の存在に支えられています。次世代のヨガアーサナ指導者やアスリートを育てることこそ、教師の日の本質を体現するものです。

In Japan, respect for teachers (Sensei) is deeply embedded in society. From the classroom to martial arts dojo to traditional arts like calligraphy and tea ceremony, the role of a teacher goes far beyond instruction — it shapes character, discipline, and community values. This cultural foundation beautifully complements the essence of Teacher’s Day, reminding us that both India and Japan share a profound tradition of honoring their guides.
A Special Milestone for JYSF
On this meaningful day, we are proud to announce that the official registration application for the Japan Yogasana Sports Federation (JYSF) has been submitted. The process is expected to be completed around September 19, 2025.
This milestone marks a new chapter in our mission to establish Yogasana as a recognized sport in Japan. JYSF will create opportunities for young athletes, nurture future teachers, and connect Japan with the global Yogasana movement.
